Step 3 - Read Words (Sonday Systems 1 & 2 and Secondary 1)

Conducting Step 3 - Read Words

  1. Choose which set of words the students will read aloud by clicking one of the options. This will load the selected content in the Slide Controller.

  2. The content you selected has a green checkmark. Click the forward arrow in the title page of the Slide Controller to access the material.

  3. The Slide Controller will display the number of slides in the set. Use the arrows to navigate among slides.

  4. Material is provided for several sessions; if time allows, you can make another selection by clicking the blue hand-pointer icon (the Pick Another tool).

  5. If you want to undo a selection, first make your new selection. Then the Undo a Choice icon (blue arrow in a circle) will appear. Click Undo, hover over the activity you wish to remove, and then click the red X that appears upon hovering. remove this choice step 3.png
  6. When students are finished reading words or the recommended time for this step is up, click Next Step to progress to Step 4 - Spell Words.
    • In SS1 and SS2, the Next Step button is to the left of the Slide Controller.
    • In Secondary 1, the Next Step button is above the Slide Controller to the right.
