Conducting Step 1 - Read Sounds

Each slide in the Slide Controller displays a card for a sound or blend. In levels that review cards from multiple sets, the sets will appear in the order in which they are listed in the lesson plan, and the cards within each set will be displayed in a random order. Click the arrow in the Slide Controller to advance through the slides, or use the blue arrows to jump to the end of one set if you prefer to focus on a later set for a given session.
Note
As new cards are introduced in Step 5, they will automatically populate in Step 1 in the appropriate set for subsequent sessions at the same level.
- When all cards have been read or when the time limit for this step is up, click Next Step to go to Step 2 - Spell Sounds.
In SS1 and SS2, the Next Step button is to the left of the Slide Controller.
In Secondary 1, the Next Step button is above the Slide Controller to the right.
The system will not display the slides beyond Step 1 until you go to Step 2.
