Analyzing the Mastery report in Imagine Sonday System Digital

 Note

This article applies to the following digital programs:

  • Sonday System 1 (SS1)
  • Sonday System 2 (SS2)
  • Sonday System Secondary 1 (SSS1)
  • Sonday System Essentials (EK–E5)

 Caution

Each class's Roster Type must be set to Students in order for individual student data to populate in the report. You can verify or change a class's Roster Type by editing the class.

In the Sonday System digital platform, several reports are available for teachers and administrators to view metrics on program usage and student performance. This article highlights the Mastery report. It displays data produced when students complete Mastery Checks in SS1/SS2/Secondary 1 and/or Mastery Checks in Essentials.

Data in this report is available from July 1st through yesterday of the current school year. Today's data is not included in the report.

Click on a tab to view how to access and interpret the Mastery report based on your role.

  6. Optional: Use the date picker and/or the class filter to change the data that displays in the report.

    The default filters are:
    • Start date - End date: Defaults to the previous week that ended yesterday. Today's data cannot be included in the report.

       Tips

      • The entire date range must be in the same school year (July 1st–June 30th).
      • All students without a Mastery Check in the selected date range will be highlighted in yellow. Try changing the filter to the past month to view more data. Once the students have a Mastery Check score within the selected date range, the yellow highlight disappears.
    • Class: Defaults to All. All of your classes will be listed in the menu, but if the roster type for any class is not set to Students, then no data will be available to load in to the report for that class.

  7. The All tab is grouped by program and then sub-divided by the classes within the program and finally by session. If the same class has data from more than one level, each level will display separately. Similarly, if there is more than one session within the same level, each session will have its own section within that level. At the top of each session, a time and date stamp (in Central time) displays the time you ended the session.
