If you notice students need additional practice with a particular vocabulary word, you can reteach it. We recommend using a different activity when reteaching, so that students reinforce and extend their learning.
There are two ways to begin reteaching a word that has already been taught. Click on a tab below for step-by-step instructions.
To reteach starting from the Lesson Detail page:
- From your Teaching Dashboard, select WinVocab in the Products panel.
- Click Select in the applicable class tile to open the class's Lesson Detail page.
- Under Taught Words, click on the Teach Again icon (rewind icon).

Use the Recommended Lesson panel to choose a different activity and reteach the selected word. Follow the directions in Preparing a lesson in WinVocab for more details.
To reteach starting from the Lesson History page:
- From your Teaching Dashboard, select WinVocab in the Products panel.
- Click History in the applicable class tile to open the class's Lesson History page.

Click Teach Again next to the word you wish to reteach.
- Use the Recommended Lesson panel to choose a different activity and reteach the selected word. Follow the directions in Preparing a lesson in WinVocab for more details.
