Editing students in Imagine Sonday System Digital

Both Teachers and Administrators can edit student profiles in the digital platform.

The following fields can be altered:

Field Description
Display Name The name you will see in the educator portal when taking attendance and looking at class rosters. During active sessions, the name entered will appear to you, the student, and other students in the same class. We recommend giving each student in the License Group a unique display name, even if they are in different classes, so that each student is distinguishable from the others.
Student ID Optional field. Use, if needed, to keep track of the student's ID assigned by your school.
First Name Optional field. The student's first name(s).
Last Name Optional field. The student's surname(s).
Default Class The class that is listed for the student on the Manage Students page. Changing the Default Class does not change a student's assigned classes; it only changes which class displays in the Students List. This field is especially applicable if a student is enrolled in more than one class.

Status The default Status is active, but you can change a student to inactive or archived.
