This article applies to:
- Sonday System 1 (SS1)
- Sonday System 2 (SS2)
- Sonday System Secondary 1
Caution
Each class's Roster Type must be set to Students in order for individual student data to populate in the report. You can verify or change a class's Roster Type by editing the class.
In the Sonday System digital platform, several reports are available for teachers and administrators to view metrics on program usage and student performance. This article highlights the Growth report.
The Growth report displays data produced when students complete more than one Pre-test/Post-test in SS1/SS2/Secondary 1. You can see how students' scores changed from their first test to their last test in the selected time period.
The date range in this report defaults from July 1st through yesterday of the current school year.
Click on a tab to view how to access and interpret the Growth report based on your role.
To access and analyze the Growth report (Teachers):
- Log in to Imagine Sonday System Digital.
- If you are a member of more than one license group, select a license group.
- Open the drop-down menu by your name and then select Reports.
- Click the Growth Report tile.
- By default, the report opens on the All students tab and displays data from all your programs combined. If you use multiple programs, click on a program tab to view each program separately, or use the arrows to expand/contract the program(s) you want to focus on.
- Optional: Use the date picker, the class filter, and/or the Percentages/Scores buttons to change the data that displays in the report.
The default settings are:- Start date - End date: Defaults to the previous July 1st of the current school year. Today's data is not included in the report, but you can change the start date to up to 3 years in the past.
- Class: Defaults to All. All of your classes will be listed in the menu, but if the roster type for any class is not set to Students, then no data will be available to load into the report for that class.
- Percentages/Scores: Defaults to Percentages and shows the student's percentage increase or decrease between tests. To view increases and decreases in raw scores for each area, switch to Scores.
-
The All students tab is grouped by program. All students are listed underneath the applicable program regardless of which class they are in, so use the class filter mentioned above if you only want to view students in a particular class. You can also search by individual student name in the top right corner of the report. (To clear the filter afterwards, click the magnifying glass.)
The color-coding indicates the direction of growth:
- Scores or percentages with positive growth have a green up arrow, while scores or percentages that have decreased have a red down arrow.
-
In cases where the score or percentage is the same in both tests, there is a yellow dash.
Note
Students who have not taken any tests will not be included in the report. Students who have taken the Pre-test but not the Post-test will have n/a instead of a score or percentage.
-
