The Preview display option is defined by the absence of any way to display student-only content digitally during a lesson. While the other display options (New Window and Follow Along) each provide an enlarged view of the cards, word lists, and other student-facing content for a lesson, the Preview option maintains the instructor view, where the student content appears in miniature in the Slide Controller.
This display option should be used for previewing a lesson when you don't need to display student content, or for using the digital teacher interface to view lesson data (attendance, lesson duration, new material taught, etc.).
Caution
Session data will still be tracked if you view a lesson in Preview mode.
