Note
This article applies to Sonday System (SS1), Sonday System 2 (SS2), and Essentials K–5 (EK–5) on the digital platform.
The Slide Controller allows you to navigate through each level or lesson's content and flip through the slides. The timer at the top of the controller helps you devote the recommended allotted time to each step.
Tip
If you'd like to walk around your classroom while moving through the slides, use a remote clicker.
Choose the applicable product tab to get started.
To use the Slide Controller in Sonday System 1 and 2:
-
Select a class from the Teaching Dashboard and then click Begin Level.
- Click the forward arrow to advance past the step's title slide.
- Continue through the slides using the forward and back arrows as needed.
- Slides that display card sets have additional Slide Controller features. Click Dog Ear to return the card to
the deck for further repetition; the card will be randomly displayed again as you advance through the slides. An image of a folded corner appears on all slides that have been dog-eared. The slide count at the bottom of the controller also increases by one for each slide you dog ear.
- Click Flip to show the illustration and/or key word on the other side of the card. (Click Flip Back to return to the front of the card.)
- Use the blue arrows to skip to the beginning or end of the current slide set.
- When you get to the last slide within a step, instead of clicking the forward arrow within the controller, click Next Step.
- At the last slide of the last step, click End Session or Click Here to End This Session to go to the Class Lesson Completed page.
