The New Window display is one option for displaying student content for remote viewing. The New Window displays only the content intended for student viewing. When this display method is selected, it will automatically pop up when you begin advancing through slides during a teaching session.
Tips
If you are using the New Window option, make sure to disable your browser’s pop-up blocker.
You can set New Window as your default display method for student content in all Sonday products under Digital Settings in My Profile.
During a teaching session, you can switch display methods using the options below the Slide Controller. This will overrule the default display setting you have set in your Profile for this class, and will be remembered next time you teach a lesson to this class.
To display student content in class or remotely, share only the pop-up window with students. For example, drag it onto an extended display if your computer is connected directly to a display device. You can view and control what students are seeing in the New Window using the Slide Controller in the lesson plan window.
