Click the red arrow button in the Slide Controller to display the Writing Prompt slide, cueing students that it’s time to write. Dictate the sounds in red (saying the sounds, not the letter names).
To keep a record of all responses, have students use the Student Notebooks. Students learning remotely can submit their completed pages by scanning or taking a picture and sending via email.
As new cards are introduced in Step 5, they will automatically populate into the dictation list in Step 2 in subsequent sessions at the same level.
When all sounds have been dictated or the time limit for this step is up, click 'Next Step' to progress to Step 3 - Read Words.
