What to Do When Products Expire

Digital subscriptions to Imagine Sonday System products last for one calendar year from the date of purchase. Expired products will appear in the Expired tab of the Manage Products page.

You can view the validity period for an active digital product by navigating to the Product Assignment Wizard. From the Dashboard, click 'Manage Products,' then locate the product in question and click 'Go.' For unassigned products, the validity period will be shown in the Validity Period dropdown menu. For products that have been assigned to teachers, the validity period will be shown in the middle column of the Existing Products Assigned To A Teacher table.

Once a product has expired, the teacher will no longer be able to use it for instruction or access any of its included resources. They will, however, still be able to access class and student data such as session histories.

 Note

Expiration of a Sonday System digital product does not delete the classes and students that were taught using that product, since students and classes are tied to the License Group and the teacher, not the product.

When a digital subscription expires, you can easily assign another valid license to the teacher using the Product Assignment Wizard. (See the Assign Products to Teachers article for details.) The teacher can then continue teaching their classes without losing their progress.
