Step 4 - Spell Words (Sonday System 1 & 2)

In the Step 4 dictation list, words using sounds, blends, or rules taught in Step 5 of previous sessions will automatically populate at the bottom, providing students an opportunity to practice their newly learned skills.

Click the red forward arrow button in the Slide Controller to display the Touch Spelling icon. This is to remind students to Touch Spell each word before they write it.

Click the red arrow button again to display the Writing Prompt slide, which indicates that students should write as you dictate. Dictate as many of the words and phrases/sentences listed in the lesson plan as you are able to in the time allotted for this step.

When you finish dictating or the recommended time for this step is up, click 'Next Step' to move on to Step 5 - New Material.
